Why are the products being terminated?

Considering the price performance of silver and silver futures in recent weeks, the high volatility, the large trading volumes and the resulting increased gap risks, particularly overnight and before weekends, Vontobel has decided to terminate Constant Leverage Certificates with a factor greater than 10 on an extraordinary basis.

In accordance with the terms and conditions, an extraordinary termination right exists if the issuer is unable to conclude, renew, replace, maintain, terminate, acquire, or sell hedging transactions despite economically reasonable efforts. This situation is referred to as a “hedging disruption.” The issuer was confronted with such a hedging disruption in connection with the terminated products.

What happens next?

The redemption amount for the terminated products will be determined on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (CET) in accordance with the terms and conditions of issue and published on the respective product detail page, which can be accessed by entering the respective product ISIN on the website https://markets.vontobel.com. The calculated redemption amount is expected to be paid out on January 23, 2026.
