Öljyn hinnan laskun vaikutukset inflaatioon
Markkinat aloittavat viikon jännittyneissä merkeissä. Geopoliittisen tilanteen lisäksi tärkeäksi teemaksi tältä viikolta voidaan nostaa Euroopan kesäkuun alustavat inflaatioluvut.
USA:n markkinoiden suunnanmuutos
Viime viikko oli Yhdysvaltain osakemarkkinoilla kahtiajakoinen. S&P 500 (-1,95%) ja Nasdaq (-4,62%) kärsivät teknologiaosakkeiden korjausliikkeestä, kun taas esimerkiksi pienyhtiöiden Russell 2000 indeksi koki enemmänkin nousua. Sijoittajat voivat olla siirtymässä spekulatiivisesta kasvusta kohti defensiivisempiä kohteita. Vaikka öljyn hinnan lasku on tuonut helpotusta, markkinat seuraavat tarkasti, riittääkö tämä hillitsemään kohonnutta inflaatiota.

Eurooppa: Inflaatioluvut suurennuslasin alla
Euroalueen talousnäkymät ovat olleet koetuksella, ja tällä viikolla julkaistavat alustavat inflaatioluvut ovat avainasemassa. Öljyn hinnan lasku on merkittävä uutinen Euroopalle. Vaikka sota-preemio on pienentynyt, Hormuzinsalmen tuoreet uutiset osoittavat, että tilanne on yhä hauras. Yksikin eskalaatio voi palauttaa volatiliteetin nopeasti. Tämä voi tällöin heijastua nopeasti globaaleihin markkinoihin sekä kysymykset sitkeämmästä inflaatiosta voi nousta taas esiin.
