Contents

This is a type of exchange-traded product that allows you as an investor to invest in themes, strategies, regions, and countries. Tracker Certificates are characterized by replicating the development of an underlying asset, which is a theme-based index. You who invest in Tracker Certificates speculate on rising prices of the underlying asset and thus bear the risk of loss if the price of the underlying asset should instead declines.

Our Tracker Certificates allow you to invest in a well-diversified way in one transaction, making Tracker Certificates cost-effective compared to individual transactions in the underlying assets that make up the index. The advantages of these products include that they are easy to understand as they follow the performance of the underlying asset nearly 1:1. In addition, you can invest in underlying assets that may otherwise be inaccessible to retail investors.

TRACK ESG VN

ESG stands for "Environmental, Social and Governance". The development of ESG is an important factor in business decisions and is about how a company's products and services contribute to sustainable development.

TRACK ESG VN is the name of our Tracker Certificate that follows the Vontobel Swiss ESG Research Index, which is calculated in Swiss francs (CHF) and consists of 25 different companies in several different sectors based in Switzerland and Austria. The companies include ABB Ltd, Nestlé SA, Logitech International SA, Lindt & Sprüngli AG, Adecco Group AG and Zurich Insurance group. This index is well diversified as it includes many companies in sectors including services, industrial goods, financials, technology, basic materials and healthcare.

TRACK FISHING VN

Globally, fisheries are an important source of nutritious food and a basis for livelihoods. Innovation is important in terms of improved management of fisheries and aquaculture, but also crucial to ensure that future generations can continue to use and benefit from marine resources and ecosystems. This is also to prevent poaching and overfishing, which is a threat to both our oceans and food supply. Norway is at the forefront of innovation and fishing, and between 2008 and 2018, exports of fish increased by 72% (OECD).

TRACK FISHING VN is the name of our Tracker Certificate with Nordic fishing as the theme, and it follows the Solactive Nordic Seafood and Fishing Performance Index, which is calculated in NOK. The Norwegian fishing companies included in this index are Salmar ASA, Mowi ASA, Grieg Seafood ASA, Bakkafrost P/F, Austevoll Seafood ASA and Leröy Seafood Group ASA.

TRACK ARTIFICIAL VN

Artificial intelligence has been a hot topic in recent years, but especially in 2023. The technology is advancing rapidly, and many companies are actively working to implement and develop AI technology to streamline their operations, and in turn increase sales and profits.

TRACK ARTIFICIAL VN follows the Solactive Artificial Intelligence Performance Index, which is comprised of twenty different companies including Meta Platforms Inc, Qualcomm Inc, NVIDIA Corp, Prosus NV, Baidu Inc, and Alphabet Inc. These companies operate in the US, China, the Netherlands, Germany, and Uruguay, making for a well-diversified index. The stocks included in the index are traded in different currencies, at present mainly in USD, followed by EUR and Hongkong Dollar. The index is calculated in USD.

The three Tracker Certificates described above give investors the opportunity to invest in a diversified way in terms of sectors, companies of different sizes and currencies. The investments are thematic, and these Tracker Certificates charge an annual management fee of 1.20%. You can trade them via Nordnet Norway.

The investor bears the risks of investing in Tracker Certificates. These includes the market risk of the underlying companies included in the index, the counterparty risk of Vontobel, eventual currency risks where the currency of the underlying index or stocks included in it differ from the product currency (NOK) and the issuer’s call right which the issuer can exercise to terminate and redeem the Tracker Certificate at a certain point in time. There is also no capital protection when investing in Tracker Certificates and you must do your own research and form your own investment strategy. The management fee in the products reduces the product performance.
