The US elections are entering the next round. The first TV debate between the two candidates for the White House - Kamala Harris and Donald Trump - will take place on Wednesday evening. It remains to be seen who will win the race. According to the latest polls, Kamala Harris has a narrow lead.

Current polls show that Kamala Harris has a slight lead over Donald Trump with 49% ahead of their first televised duel (New York Times, 09.09.2024). At this point, the Democratic presidential candidate has a small lead in key states, but a very small one. Trump could still win the election; the situation remains tense.
